Description: What was once the western United States is now home to the Republic, a nation perpetually at war with its neighbors. Born into an elite family in one of the Republic's wealthiest districts, fifteen-year-old June is a prodigy being groomed for success in the Republic's highest military circles. Born into the slums, fifteen-year-old Day is the country's most wanted criminal. But his motives may not be as malicious as they seem.
From very different worlds, June and Day have no reason to cross paths - until the day June's brother, Metias, is murdered and Day becomes the prime suspect. Caught in the ultimate game of cat and mouse, Day is in a race for his family's survival, while June seeks to avenge Metias's death. But in a shocking turn of events, the two uncover the truth of what has really brought them together, and the sinister lengths their country will go to keep its secrets.
Full of nonstop action, suspense, and romance, this novel is sure to move readers as much as it thrills.
My Thoughts: For some reason, this book cover makes me think of The Hunger Games. I love The Hunger Games, so I think I may love this one. Don't judge my logic. I know it's faulty, but a girl has to start somewhere right?? Besides, everyone knows I'm a sucker for covers (if you didn't know, its probably because you don't follow me...in which case you should go ahead and follow...I'll be eternally grateful, and follow you back!!)
What are your "Waiting On" picks this week?

I'm awaiting this one as well but I've read the first chapter and while it's dystopian it doesn't seem to be too Hunger Gamish. I don't think anything will ever come close to THG!
I've been seeing this one...it does have an awesome blurb and cover. Thanks for sharing.
Here's MY WOW POST and

Awesome pick! I've been seeing this for awhile now around other blogs as well, and it something I plan on checking out when it's released.
Totally agree that it does kinda remind you of the hunger games...a series I still need to look into too.

This one is going to fly off the shelves, with how many people are anticipating it! It's on my TBR list as well! It does seem kind of, Hunger Games-esque, doesn't it? Great pick!

I think this one will do quite well. This one looks intriguing. Old follower saying hello.
This one does sound good. I didn't try to get an ARC of it though because I'm a bit burnt out on dystopians, but I know I'll read it. I'm just not going to break my neck to do it. I'll save that for Insurgent...lol...
This is another Dystopian that I am eagerly looking forward to! Great choice!

Take care! muah!
I can't wait to read this one! Looks amazing. Have you seen the author's website for this book? Kinda cool, she does some neat illustrations of her Legend characters!
Oooh, yes, I read this a while ago and it's fantastic. It actually made me cry, haha. You will for sure love it -- as a Hunger Games fan myself, this was a great addition to the dystopian genre (different too).
Thans for stopping by. New follower! :)
ooh, I've been seeing this around a lot - the summary sounds really really good!
Sadly I don't like the cover of this one at all, but the summary sounds really good and I've heard a lot of awesome things about it. Great pick. :)
