Follow Friday and Book Blogger Hop

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday!!!!!! Lets begin with the Friday Fun:

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Allison Can Read and Parajunkee's View where book bloggers get together and HAVE FUN!!!

This week's question is:

Q. If you could have dinner with your favorite book character, who would you eat with and what would you serve?

Lets start off by saying....I LOVE THIS QUESTION!!! Okay so there would be a TON of characters I would like to eat with. First, Katniss from The Hunger Games.
I'm sure the meal would be a little weird since she's a little messed up in the head after everything she went through in the games, plus she'd be a little old since the book ended while her kids are playing on the meadow cemetery. Nonetheless, I love her and okay I'll admit I want to see if she can introduce me to Gale (dont judge me).

I'd also like to eat with Jael from Misfit. I mean she only eats buffet's of fruit and veggies. I feel like i'd be healthy as a horse after spending 1 week eating with her. Hopefully she doesnt fiddle with my soul in the meantime, but you gotta take what you can get...

Vi from Possession would be nice to meet too. She seems like a fun person minus the whole mind control thing and everything.

Okay, I'll admit I'd like to meet like everyone from every book I have ever read. (except Voldemort; I may just pee my pants.
Becides, can you imagine him eating actual food? It would look disgusing with the whole nose slits and weird teeth. Plus I feel like he only eats people for some reason...like a zombie only wayyy cooler and scarier)

What are you're answers?

Next we'll move on to Book Blogger Hop.
Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy For Books and is a weekly meme where book bloggers can meet other book bloggers.

This week's question is:

“What is your favorite Halloween costume?
Even if you don’t celebrate, what kinds of costumes do you like?”
I love em all. For myself I like the whole somewhat sexy but still covered body parts thing. I LOVE victorian/renaissance/period costumes. (they're just so darn expensive sometimes) Story book characters are fun. I was Little Red Riding Hood last year. This year I'll be a fairy. I keep wanting to be pocahontas, but I cant seem to find a costume that'll cover everything. On other people I like em all! Scary, slutty, story book, imaginative...pretty much anything that's done in detail and had some thought put behind it I love. I especially love people who dress their dogs. So Cute. I am thinking I'll dress mine this year, but we'll see.

What are you're favorites?

Follow Friday and Book Blogger Hop

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday,

Am I glad it's friday? You betcha! I have been sooo busy this week. (Actually I'm still busy but decided to take a break.) My review for this week should be up by like tomorrow (hopefully) so stay tuned. Now lets move on to the meme's:

Follow Friday is hosted by Allison Can Read and Parajunkee's View.

This week's question is:

Q.If you could have characters from a particular book meet and form an epic storyline with characters from a particular TV series, which would you choose and why?

Ummm. So this is a difficult question mainly because almost all the tv shows I watch are based off of books: True Blood, Game of Thrones, Vampire Diaries, The Tudors, theyre all books. How on earth am I to answer this question. I guess if the mix were to be with movies, I'd say have all the characters from the Matrix meet with all the vampires from Twilight. Think about it (not too hard, your head might hurt). Okay, so the people in the Matrix say that the world we live in is false. Like a computer program and Neo has all those super powers like stopping bullets and flying and everything. But vampires are like really hard and strong and fast. What'll happen if the two of those groups get into a fight. Furthermore, what would Neo and Trinity think about Vampires. Since they live extra long are they like super agents. Ones that can only be killed with fire? What would the vampires think of Neo. Would he be like one of them since he's got all the powers and everything and can move all fast and is strong. Hmmmm Interesting. I guess when it comes to this question, I just cant answer it. I dont watch enough tv to think of a show and mix it with a book. Unless we count cartoons. Family Guy, for instance, mixed with Posession (review here) would be hilariously funny. I can see stewie now, talking about everyone throughout the entirety of the movie. Like a little narration as the story goes by that makes you laugh so hard you almost pee your pants. Actually, Family Guy mixed with anything would be great. Nice. I guess what I'm saying here, after all this explanation, is I have no freaking idea how to answer this question.

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy For Books.

This week's question is:

“What is your favorite spooky book (i.e. mystery/suspense, thriller, ghost story, etc.)?”

Okay, so I normally stay away from these so that I can sleep at night. I haven't read very many, therefore my answer would be Darkhouse by Karina Halle (review here) I was scared during the book, and loved it all the same.

What are your answers?

Follow Friday and Book Blogger Hop

Good Evening everyone and Happy Friday. I have been pretty much out of it all day because of a cold, so I'm getting started a little late today. Nonetheless, here are the Friday meme's:

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Allison Can Read and Parajunkee's View where book bloggers answer questions and meet fellow book bloggers. This week's question is:

Q.If you could pick one character in a book, movie or television show to swap places with, who would it be?

I kinda love this week's question. Of course, like Allison from Allison Can Read, I would love to switch with Alice from Twilight (or perhaps Renesmee...I'd love to have Jacob fawning over me) and Hermione from Harry Potter. But I's also love to switch with Mo from How To Flirt with a Naked Werewolf just to be with sexy werewolf Cooper (minus the weird biting). I would also love to switch with Jael from Misfit because she has like amazing powers and stuff, I just don't think I'd really enjoy being a succubus, nearly snatching people's souls. Finally I'd absolutely love to be Vi from Possession. The ability to control technology and people with your mind is absolutely amazing!!! There's more books and a host of movies, but I'll stop here.

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy For Books where bloggers visit other bloggers.

“It’s time to spread some love beyond the borders of the Book Blogger Hop! This week, we aren’t answering a question. We are spotlighting our fellow bloggers. Find your favorite(s) author interview(s), guest post(s), book review(s), or bookish article(s) that ANOTHER BOOK BLOGGER featured on their site recently and tell us why you love it/them! As an additional challenge, find your favorite one of EACH of the categories above and spotlight all 4 (interview, guest post, review, article).”

Okay, so I am not going to follow the rules. I will pick 1 person I love and leave it at that (this isn't to say I don't love other people's blogs, I just love this one so much!!!)  Therefore I'd like to pick the lovely Lan from The Write Obsession. I love like everything she writes and would probably nominate her for an awesome award if I could. I must say I am a stalker of her blog! There was no particular post that made me fall in love with her, but lets just say visit her blog and look at every post she has written and tell me if you dont wanna stalk her too!

Okay so that's it. No closing remarks (I guess this is a closing remark in itself).

Follow Friday and Book Blogger Hop

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!!!!! I am sooo excited about today, not only because it's friday and I get to browse other bloggers blogs without feeling like a stalker, but because I have nearly 100 followers (I'm at 93 right now, but hopefully by the time you read this I'll have reached 100) and have decided to host my very first Giveaway!!!!!!! (this is so exciting)  The giveaway information will be up soon so stay tuned!!! First, lets handle the friday meme's:

Follow Friday is a weekly meme where bloggers meet and follow other bloggers. It is  hosted by Allison Can Read and Parajunkee's View. This week's question is

Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?

Hmmmm, I would like to see Incarceron and City of Bones turned into a movie (although I hear it will be soon) I guess it doesn't count then huh. I'm not sure otherwise. I am horrible at casting so I wont even try. I guess if i had to choose something else, I would choose the Infernal Devices Series by Cassandra Clare. Those books are just amazing!

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy For Books. It is a weekly blogger meme where book bloggers get to gether to answer questions and meet other bloggers. This week's question is:

“In honor of Banned Books Week, what is your favorite “banned or frequently challenged book”?”
Click here for 2010-11 list in PDF format. You can also click HERE to view past years and choose from any of those titles!

That's a hard question. I guess I'd say the Hunger Games. I read them like all the time! At least once a month. That would be the only ones I absolutely love.

What are your answers? Leave me a link with them so that I can check out your page!

Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday

Follow Friday is a weekly meme where bloggers meet and follow other bloggers. It is hosted by Allison Can Read and Parajunkee's View. This week's question is:

Q. Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?

My Answer: YES, YES, YES!!! I read Twilight like once a month, I read the Hunger games almost as much and City of bones slightly less than that. Its like amazing!!! I even have them all in audio books so that I can continue to listen to it when I cant read. It's almost like I'm obsessed with them. My parents get annoyed every time they get in my car because all I listen to is these 3 audio book series. What about you? Leave a link so that I can check yours out.

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy For Books. It is a weekly meme where bloggers get together to answer questions and meet other bloggers. This week's question is not up yet. Stay Tuned!

****edit****

The Hop is extending later this week. Our host had a busy week and was unable to do it on time. This week's question is:

“As a blog reader, what information (besides the book review) do you like to see in other bloggers’ reviews of books? (For example – Author bio, social media links, book synopsis from Amazon/Goodreads or one written by the blogger, page count, ISBN number, link to purchase, etc.)”

Oddly, there isn't uch I like to read becides the book review in other bloggers review of books. Its nice to see the Author bio sometimes, although I will admit that unless there's something particularly spectacular in it, I just skim through it. I do like the synopsis from Goodreads/Amazon/Barnes and Noble. It helps me decide if I would even like to read the synopsis at all. I also like to see the rating at the end of how many "stars" the reviewer would give the book. Regardless of the synopsis, or the way I originally feel about the cover, a rating of 4-5 stars will almost always make me stop and re-read.

What about you?

Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Friday!!! I have had such a long week and have Finally reached the end!!! Now For our meme's:

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy For Books. This week's question is:

“As a book blogger, how do you introduce yourself in your profile?”

The question for this week is pretty interesting. I am quite new to the whole blogging scene, and I don't even want to pretend to know what I'm doing. I am merely trying out everything I can to see what is a good fit. That being said, I believe my profile is not the most important thing about my blog. If you look at it, you see that it's short and sweet. I think my blog is the most important thing, the only thing really focused on by my followers. I do, however, understand that I need to have something in my profile, but its pretty neglected, like the step child you  take care of, dress, and get ready for school because you have to and not because you want to (I don't have step children but based on Cinderella this seems to be the case...don't hate me...I know this isn't the case for all step children, or even some). Therefore, I wanted my profile to be nice, not overshadow my blog, and tell a little about me and why I like books. That's it. After all, what else does it really need?

Let me know what you all think. I just LOVE differing opinions

Next is Follow Friday:

Follow Friday is Hosted by Allison Can Read and Parajunkee's View. This week's question is:

Q. It's that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

Another difficult question. I wish I could make them all real (okay not really all, but most). Harry Potter, of course, should be real. I already believe some people in the world can do magic in some form and that there are actual witches (don't judge me), so why not take it a step forward and include wizards and Sorcerer's and stuff. It's not that much of a stretch. I would also love for Twilight to be real (to an extent). That whole sparkling thing, not really feeling it, but I think its more believable than the whole wooden steak through the heart, compelling vampires of other books/movies. I'd also love for Vampire Diaries (the TV show) to be real, although it's only because I am in love with Damon right now (did you see last nights episode...already hooked again). In truth, I don't want any imaginary book world to be a reality in the greater sense. I don't want everyone to know about it, only me and a select few people. The secrecy is what makes the books so great. Besides, if they were a reality to the whole world, we'd have a True Blood scenario on our hands with "racism" and "civil rights" and the whole bit. No, I'm fine without it becoming a reality, at least to everyone. I would like it to be a reality to me.

Okay so I just said a lot, and I'm not really sure if it even makes sense. My brain moves like a thousand miles a minute. Nonetheless, that's what I think. Let me know what you think.

Don't Forget to leave a link back to your posts so I can read them. Oh yeah, and Follow me...I follow back!

Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday (in 3 hours for me). I am almost done my book Darkhouse for review from Karina Halle so look forward to the review soon!

It's time for the weekly meme's. We'll start with Book Blogger Hop:

Book Blogger Hop is Hosted by Crazy For Books. This week's question is:

“Many of us primarily read one genre of books, with others sprinkled in. If authors stopped writing that genre, what genre would you start reading? Or would you give up reading completely if you couldn’t read that genre anymore?”

I love YA and all the sci fi, fantasy, and paranormal stuff as you all know already; however, that was not always my favorite. I used to read African American Lit (usually scandalous-ness...wink wink) I just like the innocence of YA lit, and the otherworldly experiences that come with fantasy and sci fi and paranormal books. I suppose that I would go back to reading this if they stopped writing my genre, or move to historical fiction. I love the moies at least, i suppose I would probably like the books too. I would never ever in 100 million bagillion years give up reading, unless of course something happened to my eyes (i dont know why i thought of that...i just did)...and even then I'd listen to audiobooks.

What about you?

Next it's time for Follow Friday!!!

Follow Friday is hosted by Allison Can Read and Parajunkee's View.

This week's question isn't up yet (yea I'm early...so what...I'm just a little excited that tomorrow is Friday and I don't have to work!) but I'll make sure to add it and post as soon as I see it's available.

Thanks for Stopping By! Follow Me, I follow back!

****edit****

Okay so I am awake now, and of course the question is up. Here it is:

Q. Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one?

I believe that is a hard question! I don't think I ever really wanted the villain to win at the end of the story. I don't really like bad guys so i always like it when they lose. Maybe I can bring it back to my younger years when I had my own personal bad guy (bullies...i was the smarty pants little girl that always read books...okay i still kinda am...its just cooler now...or people no longer care...either way) and somehow I (kinda) won, and I would prefer it that way. Besides, books where the bad guy wins are so few that i would never remember

What about you?

Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday

Book Blogger hop is hosted by Crazy for Books. This week's question is:

“What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation? (If your next season is other than fall/autumn, tell us about it and what you are most looking forward to in your part of the world!)”

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. I just love food and that's like the best day to eat it. I mean come on all that good food in one place and nobody tells you that you have to stop eating. Its like the best day ever!!!

What are you looking forward to?

Follow Friday is Hosted by Allison Can Read and Parajunkee. This week's question is:

Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? And, why?

That's a good question that's a bit difficult to answer. Although I like the conclusion to many books and wouldn't usually change it because it changes the book completely, I think I would change the end to Twilight Eclipse. I was so upset that Bree had to die. I mean It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if she were allowed to live with Carlisle and the Cullens. Can you imagine how she could have helped the Cullens, and then her friend Frank (the repelling one from her novella) they could have helped the Cullens so much! I just wonder...

What would you Change???

Thanks for stopping by!!! Leave a comment and your link so that I can stop back by your page.

Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday

Hello lovely followers and visitors and Happy Friday! It's time for the weekly meme's!

The Book Blogger Hob is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy For Books

This weeks question is:

“What’s the LONGEST book you’ve ever read?”
(Note: I’m putting one caveat on this question. You aren’t allowed to say the Bible, Torah, Qur’an, or other religious/spiritual text.)

My answer is:

I have read a lot of long books. I guess I would say Harry Potter was the longest book. I originally thought it would take me months to read it. I didn't have much trouble with the first few books, but as they got longer and longer I got more worried that I would never ever finish them! Of course I did and after that, I knew I could read anything! *smile*

What about you? What was the longest Book you have ever read?

Now for this week's Follow Friday, hosted by Parajunkee and Allison Can Read.

This week's question is:

Q. If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?

This is a hard question! I love sooo many books that I want to be in all of them. Of course I would LOVE to be in Twilight as one of the Werewolves or one of their family! I would also love to have a part in the Hunger Games or City of Bones, maybe even Clockwork Prince. They're all my favorite books and they all have interesting characters.I also want to play a part in all the period movies. I am a movie lover so pretty much anything I have read I would like to play in. What about You?

Book Blogger Hop 8/12-8/15, Follow Friday, Before the Blog

Hey Everyone, getting a late start today. I didn't have work today (NICE!). Now we have to do the weekly meme's. I had such a great experience with them last week, so I decided to do the same one, plus a few more. The last one (Before the blog) is a new meme, check hers out at the link below!

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy-For-Books . Thanks to everyone who stopped by for that.

This week's question is:

“Let’s talk crazy book titles! Highlight one or two (or as many as you like!) titles in your personal collection that have the most interesting titles! If you can’t find any, feel free to find one on the internet!”

The one title I must speak about is one I just purchased (Borders going out of business significantly increased my book collection.) It is called How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper. I just love the name of the book and it made me purchase it as soon as I saw it.

Next we have Follow Friday hosted by Parajunkee and Allison can Read.

The Question of the week is: How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?

My answer is: I read a lot more now. Usually I read a book per day or per two days (if I'm really busy it may take a week). When I was younger I read about a book per month. Additionally, I read a lot of young adult and paranormal books now whereas I used to read only adult romance. I like plots more these days (hehe).

Last but not least, we have  Before the Blog hosted by YA Litwit . Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

It's a place to review books you read and loved before you began blogging about them and answering the following questions:

Why did you choose this book?
When did you read this book?
Who would you recommend this book to?

I choose:

Why did you choose this book?
I chose this book because I love it. I have it on audio book, and I have listened to it multiple times on mu iPod. I have read it over and over again and I am absolutely obsessed.

When did you read this book?
I read this book last year (believe it or not). I saw it on the shelves every time I went to the bookstore and constantly skipped over it thinking it would be awful. Finally I broke down and decided to read it and I am so glad I did. It was amazing.

Who would you recommend this book to?
I would recommend this book to my little sister (she's just getting into reading and looks up to me to pick good ideas for her to read.) and all little people, as well as all people in general. Its for the young and old and all in between. Its ridiculously amazing!!!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by!!!

Book Blogger Hop 8/5-8/8

Hey Everyone. Book Blogging is so fun! I'm so glad I got into it (i had 2 followers by the second day...isn't that great!) , and thanks for the comments I received thus far. I was so sure that it would take a while for people to even come to my page! Well, as i was browsing, I found another thing (they're called memes right?) to do during the week while I'm busy reading my books. Its a Book Blogger Hop!

Book Blogger Hop

That logo looks so fun! Thank you to everyone who is coming by for the Blog Hop and thanks to Crazy-For-Books for hosting this Hop!

This Week's Question is:

“What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?”

My Answer:

Well this is a tough one. Mainly because as you all know I am new to blogging, and therefore I have never gotten an ARC of anything. If I had to choose (which I definitely am not good at. I can barely choose what I'm going to eat every day) I would pick Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood. Not only is the cover art absolutely beautiful (oh come on...who doesn't judge a book by its cover) but it is also about witches. I'm not sure about you all but I am a little tired of the normal Vampire books. Furthermore, I just LOVE books that seem to be set in the older days and books that depict the main character fighting against all odds. I am excited just thinking about it!

What's the answer to your question?
