Waiting on Wednesday - Bloodrose and Darker Still

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week I have 2 that I would love to share. I'm not sure if thats against the rules, but whatever!

Title: Bloodrose
Author: Andrea Cremer
Release Date: January 24, 2012

Description (nightshadebook.com): The Ultimate Sacrifice
Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there’s more at stake than fighting. There’s saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay’s wrath. There’s keeping Ansel safe, even if he’s been branded a traitor. There’s proving herself as the pack’s alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers’ magic once and for all. And then there’s deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is. In the final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Andrea Cremer creates a novel with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until its final pages. A dynamic end to this breathtaking trilogy. (See excerpt here)

I loved Wolfsbane (see review here) and I am so excited to see what happens in the end. This book comes out a few days after my birthday so really its like a late birthday present *smile*.

My next choice is:

Title: Darker Still
Author: Leanna Renee Heiber
Release Date: November 1, 2011

Description (Barnes and Noble): The Picture of Dorian Gray meets Pride and Prejudice, with a dash of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
New York City, 1882. Seventeen-year-old Natalie Stewart's latest obsession is a painting of the handsome British Lord Denbury. Something in his striking blue eyes calls to her. As his incredibly life-like gaze seems to follow her, Natalie gets the uneasy feeling that details of the painting keep changing...
Jonathan Denbury's soul is trapped in the gilded painting by dark magic while his possessed body commits unspeakable crimes in the city slums. He must lure Natalie into the painting, for only together can they reverse the curse and free his damaged soul.

Hmmm. It seems quite interesting. 1882? A British Lord? Changing Paintings? Trapped Souls? This seems like just the book for me!

Leave a link to your WoW's so i can check them out and as always, thanks for stopping by.

By the way, I have 50 followers now!!! Isn't that amazing?! I am just so excited!!!! Love you all!

I love the sound and cover of Darker Still. I haven't read Nightshade and Wolfsbane yet (just got my copies today!), but I like the look of Bloodrose.
